MrSavage introduced himself into the world of Fortnite about one month after its official release, which became his source of addiction in no time. He made tons of memorable plays throughout his Fortnite career, one of them being him getting 40 eliminations on the very first day of Fortnite Season 9.
During his excellent performance in the Fortnite World Cup tournament, his fans remember him for his stunning Smoke Grenade escape. He also plays Fortnite, unlike any other play at the maximum possible sensitivity value in the game. MrSavage also had the honors of playing with a number of Fortnite icons such as Benjyfishy, Mitr0, and Mongraal.
Beginning of Professional Gaming Career
Prior to his Fortnite career, MrSavage had a gaming addiction, and he mostly spent his time playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Ark, H1Z1, FIFA, and Minecraft.
He is not one of those professional gamers that quit their jobs and studies to dedicate their lives to playing their favorite game. Similar to most kids his age, Martin is also a high school student, but which schools he attends to is still a mystery.
His first ever affiliation with any Fortnite team was Team Public Enemy, and under their name, MrSavage made history by winning the POG Solo Tournament held in August 2018. He also participated in Royale Qualifier 2018, and his brilliant performance earned him the 2nd spot in the event.
Around that time, MrSavage focused a lot on devoting most of his time to playing scrims in hopes of playing against professional players. During that time, he would often cross paths with Mongraal, which earned him a fair bit of attention within the Fortnite community based on his gameplay skills. He would also participate in pop-up solo events and ended up playing against BenjyFishy on multiple occasions.
Both of them would often make a duo and work on improving their gameplay. At the same time, many Twitch viewers and major gaming organizations, such as NRG Esports, noticed their potential, which proved to be a game-changing moment in their career.

After bidding farewell to Team Public Enemy, he spent a few months playing solo until North American gaming organization NRG Esports signed a contract with him on January 31, 2019. Over time, MrSavage accomplished some remarkable feats on a regular basis, which earned him quite some reputation on multiple social media platforms.

MrSavage's History and Departure from NRG Esports
After becoming a part of NRG, MrSavage reached the pinnacle of success in Fortnite Esports and Twitch in no time. He spent most of his time playing alongside Benjyfish and made history by accomplishing a ton of success as a duo.
In July 2019, the pair secured their tickets for the Fortnite World Cup as a team as well as solo competitors. He placed 29th in the solo variant of the event, and together with his teammate Benjyfish, both ended up in 14th spot in the duo section of the Fortnite World Cup.
A rift started to emerge between their friendship prior to the Season X Fortnite Champion series. The decisions had to be made whether to stick as a duo or forge a new roster, so the ultimate decision ended up in both players parting ways.
However, MrSavage did not cut off himself from the competitive Fortnite scene. He played brilliantly and placed well above the ranking across multiple Solo Cash Cup tournaments.
He accomplished some great feats after ending his friendship with Benjyfish, but he made a heartfelt tweet and elaborated on how there was no bad blood among them. Benjyfish also responded by showing him respect and praising his accomplishments in the professional Fortnite stage.
Furthermore, during a podcast, MrSavage stated that he would love to play with Benjyfish whenever a chance appears as he is one of the best players in Fortnite.
MrSavage Joins 100 Thieves
Although the time with NRG Esports lasted more than a year, there were good times and bad times for MrSavage, but it certainly helped him mature and improved significantly both as a person and Fortnite player.
Ultimately on February 10, 2020, MrSavage bid farewell to the NRG Esports. After about ten days later, on February 20, 2020, MrSavage got presented with an offer by 100 Thieves to become a part of their organization.
Since then, he has participated in numerous events under 100 Thieves’ banner and has been their prominent member ever since. Furthermore, on June 30, 2020, Epic Game organized a Fortnite tournament in cooperation with MrSavage that goes by the name MrSavage Cup.

It was only three days after becoming a part of 100 Thieves that MrSavage showcased his potential in the DreamHack Anaheim tournament. He was able to win the event comprehensively and dominated the finals of the event. It was just the beginning of the year and his time under 100 Thieves, and he earned yet another remarkable feat under his name. MrSavage won a total of $30,000 from the event.

Skull Trooper OG Style (Purple)
As most of Fortnite players might know already, Skull Trooper made their initial appearance back in Halloween 2017. Afterward, there was no trace of them until October 2018, where you could unlock multiple styles by completing various challenges.
There is the rarest style whose color is purple that MrSavage often uses in his gameplay. But that color is only exclusive to players that originally owned the skin that came out during Halloween 2017. It shows that MrSavage made a serious attempt to complete those difficult challenges and earn himself the rare Skull Trooper skills as a reward.
Now MrSavage only wears the purple skull trooper.
