Symfuhny Social Media
Symfuhny’s real name is Mason Lanier and born December 21, 1999 in the US. Fortnite’s Symfuhny started his gaming lifestyle when he was younger and received an Xbox for Christmas from his grandparents.
Little did they know that would have changed his whole life and that of others around him.
Symfuhny originally had a different gamer tag that he himself can’t even remember. One day his parents got him a $50 gift card and he was able to change his name.
After he did that he wasn’t satisfied and ended up changing it 5 times using up the whole gift card, his parents were not happy about that.
The first games that Symfuhny played were Halo and Call of Duty. He noticed early on that he was really good at them. He then moved on to Minecraft where he would dominate everyone in PvP.
He joined the Optic’s Minecraft server and won several events. This is about the time people said he was cheating because he was so good at the game.
He then decided to stream his play so everyone can see without a doubt that he is not cheating.
Fortnite Symfuhny’s Grind
He then stopped streaming for sometime but found a new game called H1Z1 which he was absolutely crushing in. One of his friends suggested he should start to stream the game and so he did.
His style was very entertaining and his gameplay was like no other. He grew to about 500-1,000 viewers watching and then the decline came from the game as he started losing viewers he knew he had to find the next game.
Little did he know, the next game would catapult his career into being an eSports celebrity.
At the end of one of Symfuhny’s streams he decided to try Fortnite, the game had just been released and lots of people were enjoying it as it was so fresh and new.
Fortnite brought a new feature to the battle royale genera with the ability to build while you are in a fight. Never will gaming ever be the same. In Fortnite Symfuhny quickly mastered building but unlike others he did not stop there.
He started working on edits and became lightning fast with them. He was really far ahead of the curve and destroying others in the game with this technique.
The Turning Point
Symfuhny was in Fortnite playing as usual for his stream when he came across this player that he quickly boxed up and placed a trap on both sides so the player would be eliminated.
Little did he know this player was none other than TFue. TFue ended up playing games with Symfuhny and their chemistry worked very well for amazing content.
Later on Tfue would introduce Symfuhny to a female streamer named Brooke. Brooke and Symfuhny started playing lots of games together and even decided to meet up. In no time they were in a relationship together and their content soared because of this.
Both audiences enjoyed the fresh content with them streaming together.
It is also important to mention that he doesn’t just colab with Tfue and Brooke but lots of big names he has played with like Ninja and Bugha.
Fortnite Recognizes Symfuhny
It’s hard to have a gaming company show any interest in you when they are as large as Epic Games. That was not the case as they could not ignore the skill of Symfuhny and even sent him a holiday package filled with cool Fortnite gear.
It’s amazing for content creators to be recognized by the games they play so this is a big accomplishment.
Recently there are some clips on Twitter saying that Symfuhny is cheating. This is commonplace for Symfuhny when you are this good. He actually replied saying this same person has accused him of cheating every month since the H1Z1 days just for clout.
Watching the clips back it is amazing how he hits his shots and knows where everyone is but I really think that he is just a different breed of gamer and I don’t think he is cheating, neither do his peers.
Fortnite has Changed
As Fortnite changes and evolves so do the player base. In Fortnite Symfuhny, is still an amazing editor in the game but now has competition as a lot of the players can now edit and build godly.
He has still been doing very well in the game until another issue has arise.
A stream sniper is someone who is watching you stream a game and trying to figure out how much delay their is on your game. Once they know that they try to get into the same game with you and watch where you land.
They then go to eliminate you. There is lots of reasons people do this but here are the main two.
- They want to get recognition by the stream or streamers for successfully eliminating the streamer.
- They are huge fans and just want to be involved in the streamers life.
Stream sniping in Fortnite is definitely an issue.
In Fortnite Symfuhny gets surrounded to the point he has no chance at the start of the game and when he is trying to move up in the arena it is very upsetting.
Symfuhny still plays Fortnite but he has branched out to other games and now even doing IRL streams. He has joined NRG and has produced a good amount of content for them as well.
Symfuhny has many skills in gaming across all titles and can quickly dominate a game by mastering parts of the game that most people wouldn’t even think about.
These parts of the game give him a huge advantage especially if the game is new. His aim is very strong, one of the best and all I know is I wouldn’t want to be on the other side of that weapon.
