Reverse2k goes by the real name of Malachi Drake Greiner. He was born on November 21, 2000, in Defiance, Ohio, United States. He also has a brother known as Spongey, who is a part of the professional CSGO scene.
Reverse2k Gaming Origins
Reverse2k has been an active gamer ever since he received an Xbox 360 as a Christmas present when he was only six years old. Alongside his brother, both got addicted in no time and spent most of their time playing games, which paid off eventually one way or the other.
Despite only being 19 years of age, Reverse2k accomplished some remarkable feats in the world of professional Fortnite. He also had the honors of playing alongside some renowned Fortnite players, including none other than Ninja.
He began streaming his gaming content on April 30, 2018. Still, the gaming community only started to notice his existence after he began to accomplish some remarkable feats in August 2018, over a year after the release of Fortnite.

Life-Changing Moment for Reverse2k’s Professional Career
Reverse2k made his first presentation during the Fortnite Blitz Showdown held in August 2018, where he ended up placing 56th. But most importantly, it earned him a ticket to the 2018 Summer Skirmish Series.
During Week 4 of the North American event, Reverse2k won the newly introduced format ‘Hold the Throne’ competition, which earned him a total of $50,000. It was a format that offered a bonus reward of $50,000 for the participants holding the top spot on top of getting the most eliminations in a game.
Reverse2k successfully did so and earned this bonus reward on top of the $36,000 that he received from ending up at the 5th spot overall. All in all, he managed to take home a hefty sum of $86,000.

Overall, Reverse2k earned a total of over $100,000 during the Summer Skirmish Series. It opened a window of endless opportunities for him and gave him enough confidence to team up with TSM Daequan, during Week 3 of the event, placing 16th and earning a shared total of $3000.
Eventually, he had the honors to play alongside Ninja, one of the greatest names in the Fortnite professional scene.

After putting up a dominating performance throughout the Summer Skirmish 2018, the success seemed to follow Reverse2k like a shadow. His success got recognized by Twitch, and became a partner for their platform on August 27, 2018.
Reverse2k also became a duo partner with Ninja during the Summer Skirmish 2018, and though they did not end up winning, it forged a deep bond between both players.
Reverse2k was also fortunate enough to grab the attention of prominent gaming organizations. Although he received tons of invites from these organizations, he kept declining them until Team SoloMid sent him an invitation.
Finally, he accepted the invitation and became a part of the TSM organization on July 25, 2019, just before the Fortnite World Cup 2019.
Reverse2k’s Disappointment over NOT Qualifying alongside Ninja for Fortnite World Cup
Reverse2k and Ninja remained in touch and played alongside as a duo since the Summer Skirmish 2018. Reverse2k had been an exceptional talent in his own right, but Ninja did not have as much satisfactory experience as he did.
The stage was set for the biggest event in Fortnite history, the Fortnite World Cup. However, the duo had it rough since the beginning, especially Ninja, considering he had a hard time qualifying through the weeks.
Eventually, he could not earn himself the spot to compete alongside Reverse2k in the Fortnite World Cup main event.
On the other hand, Reverse2k continued to dominate the scene, similar to how he did in the past. He put up an excellent performance during the North America East regionals and ended up placing second, ultimately earning himself a spot at the Fortnite World Cup.
Though it was a happy moment for Reverse2k to showcase his potential at the big state, he was equally frustrated over not being able to play alongside his partner at the event. Ninja did wish him the best of luck for the event, considering it could become game-changing for Rever2k’s professional career.
Mixer Drama Rattles the Friendship between Reverse2k and Ninja
Everyone is aware of the fact that Ninja signed an official streaming contract with Mixer in the past. But not many people know about the argument that took place between two duo partners as a consequence.
During the live stream alongside Nate Hill and TimTheTatman, Reverse2k and Ninja went into the dispute over the matter of respect for other streamers. Ninja made a point of youngsters not respecting the heads of the community, which Reverse2k replied that it should be the complete opposite.
Consequently, Ninja showed disbelief that there should be no respect for people who do not respect others. Ultimately, Reverse2k commented in a sarcastic manner that he would not become a part of Mixer. He ignited the flames of irritation within Ninja, which lead to a tense argument between both players for a few minutes.
Afterward, Ninja refused to play alongside Reverse2k and made a social media statement defending his streaming platform. At the time, Reverse2k had over 300,000 followers on his twitch channel and ranked among the top 50 players in the NA East Region in 2019.
Reverse2k Part Ways with Ninja as Duo Partner before the FNCS Duos
Some people might think that the Mixer drama resulted in the duo splitting up, but it was long coming since before that event. The pair was unable to put a decent performance together across a horde of Fortnite events, which includes Ninja unable to qualify for the Fortnite World Cup.
Also, Ninja continued to drift towards the streaming and kept showing less interest in the professional Fortnite scene. It makes sense if you compare the popularity charts of Ninja as a streamer with his Fortnite earnings.

After successfully fulfilling the one year contract with Team SoloMid, Reverse2k parted ways with the organization in July 2020. During his stay with the TSM, he was able to grow significantly as a player and made it big in the world of Fortnite.
Although there were drama and depressing times, Reverse2k accepted his fate and continued to focus on creating a name for himself in the world of professional Fortnite.
After staying teamless for some time, Reverse2k signed an official contract with the Team New Age in September 2020 and has been an active member of the organization to this day.

It has been hardly a week since the Season 4 FNCS came to a conclusion. Some of the biggest names in the world of Fortnite participated in the event, and Reverse2k was among the list as well.
It has been hardly a month since he joined a new organization, and the success could not come any sooner. Unlike his duo partner Ninja, Reverse2k poured his sweat and blood in the competitive scene of Fortnite, which is paying off big time.
